AFT
AFT stands for the American Federation of Teachers, a national labor union in the United States. Founded in 1916, it represents teachers, school staff, and other education professionals. The AFT advocates for better working conditions, fair wages, and quality education for all students.
The union is involved in various activities, including collective bargaining, political advocacy, and professional development for its members. AFT also collaborates with other organizations, such as the National Education Association (NEA), to promote educational policies that benefit teachers and students alike.
