ADV Films
ADV Films was an American company known for distributing and producing anime and other forms of entertainment. Founded in 1992, it played a significant role in popularizing anime in the United States during the late 1990s and early 2000s. The company was recognized for its high-quality English dubs and subtitles, making Japanese animation accessible to a wider audience.
In addition to anime, ADV Films also ventured into live-action films and television series. The company released numerous popular titles, including Neon Genesis Evangelion and Ghost in the Shell. However, it faced financial difficulties and ultimately ceased operations in 2009, leading to the sale of its assets.
