ACTRA
ACTRA, or the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists, is a national organization that represents professional performers in Canada. Founded in 1943, it advocates for the rights and interests of its members, including actors, voice artists, and other performers in the entertainment industry.
The organization negotiates collective agreements with producers to ensure fair wages, working conditions, and benefits for its members. ACTRA also provides resources and support for performers, including training programs and networking opportunities, helping to strengthen the Canadian arts community.
