Aérospatiale
Aérospatiale was a French state-owned aerospace manufacturer formed in 1970. It specialized in the design and production of aircraft, satellites, and space launch vehicles. The company played a significant role in the development of the Concorde supersonic passenger aircraft and the Ariane rocket family, which are crucial for satellite deployment.
In 2000, Aérospatiale merged with Matra to form Aérospatiale-Matra, which later became part of the European aerospace giant EADS, now known as Airbus. Aérospatiale's legacy continues to influence modern aerospace technology and international space exploration efforts.
