The 91st Infantry Division was a unit of the United States Army that served during World War I and World War II. Activated in 1917, it was known as the "Wild West Division" due to its origins from several western states. The division played a significant role in various campaigns, including the Meuse-Argonne Offensive in WWI and the Pacific Theater in WWII.
In WWII, the division was reactivated and participated in the Battle of the Bulge and the Rhine River crossing. It was recognized for its contributions to the war effort and earned several commendations for its bravery and effectiveness in combat.
