8-Ball
The 8-Ball is a popular billiards game played on a rectangular table covered with green felt. It involves 16 balls: one black 8-ball, seven solid-colored balls numbered 1 to 7, and seven striped balls numbered 9 to 15. Players take turns using a cue stick to hit the white cue ball, aiming to pocket their designated group of balls before sinking the 8-ball.
In 8-Ball, the game begins with a break shot, where one player strikes the cue ball to scatter the racked balls. Players must call their shots, indicating which ball and pocket they intend to use. The game ends when a player legally pockets the 8-ball after clearing their group of balls.
