5th Marquess of Hertford
The 5th Marquess of Hertford, Hugh Seymour, was a British nobleman born on March 24, 1800. He inherited the title from his father, the 4th Marquess, in 1842. The Marquess was known for his extensive art collection and his role in the management of the Hertford Estate.
He was also a prominent figure in the House of Lords and served as a Conservative politician. The 5th Marquess passed away on June 24, 1870, and his title was succeeded by his son, Hugh Seymour, 6th Marquess of Hertford.
