504 Loan Program
The 504 Loan Program is a financing initiative designed to help small businesses acquire fixed assets, such as real estate or equipment. It is administered by the Small Business Administration (SBA) and provides long-term, low-interest loans to promote economic development. The program typically involves a partnership between a private lender, the SBA, and a certified development company (CDC).
Eligible businesses can receive up to 40% of the total project cost through the 504 loans, with the remaining funds coming from a private lender and a down payment from the borrower. This program aims to support job creation and community growth by making it easier for small businesses to invest in their operations.
