3rd Duke of Manchester
The 3rd Duke of Manchester, William Montagu, was born on January 2, 1737, and became the Duke in 1762 after his father's death. He was a prominent British nobleman known for his involvement in politics and society during the 18th century. The Duke was a member of the House of Lords and held various positions, including serving as a Lord Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire.
He was also known for his lavish lifestyle and extensive estates, including Kimbolton Castle. The 3rd Duke married Lady Mary FitzWilliam in 1764, and they had several children. He passed away on May 18, 1790, and was succeeded by his son, the 4th Duke of Manchester.
