3rd Bass
3rd Bass was an American hip-hop group formed in 1987, known for their unique blend of rap and rock influences. The duo consisted of members MC Serch and Pete Nice, who gained popularity in the late 1980s and early 1990s. They were recognized for their clever lyrics and socially conscious themes, which set them apart from many of their contemporaries.
The group released three albums: The Cactus Album (1989), Derelicts of Dialect (1991), and The Cactus Revisited (1994). Their hit singles, such as "The Gas Face" and "Pop Goes the Weasel," showcased their innovative style and contributed to the rise of alternative hip-hop during that era.
