1986 FIFA World Cups
The 1986 FIFA World Cup was the 13th edition of the international soccer tournament, held in Mexico from May 31 to June 29, 1986. This was the second time Mexico hosted the World Cup, having previously done so in 1970. A total of 24 teams participated, competing in various stadiums across the country.
The tournament is famously remembered for the outstanding performance of Diego Maradona, who led the Argentina national team to victory. Argentina won the final match against West Germany 3-2, securing their second World Cup title. Maradona's skill and controversial "Hand of God" goal became iconic moments in soccer history.
