포모도로
The 포모도로 Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. It involves breaking work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes long, called "pomodoros," followed by a short break of 5 minutes. After completing four pomodoros, a longer break of 15-30 minutes is taken. This approach helps improve focus and productivity by creating a structured work rhythm.
The name "포모도로" comes from the Italian word for "tomato," inspired by Cirillo's tomato-shaped kitchen timer. This technique encourages individuals to minimize distractions and maintain a steady pace, making it easier to manage tasks and reduce burnout.
