자기공명영상
자기공명영상 (MRI) is a medical imaging technique used to visualize the internal structures of the body. It utilizes strong magnetic fields and radio waves to generate detailed images of organs, tissues, and other structures without the use of ionizing radiation.
The process involves placing the patient inside a large magnet, where the magnetic field aligns the hydrogen atoms in the body. When radio waves are applied, these atoms emit signals that are captured and transformed into images by a computer. MRI is particularly useful for examining the brain, spinal cord, joints, and soft tissues.
