입법원
입법원 is the legislative branch of government in South Korea, responsible for making and passing laws. It consists of the 국회, which is a unicameral assembly made up of members elected by the public. The primary function of the 입법원 is to represent the citizens and ensure that their interests are reflected in the laws of the country.
The 입법원 also plays a crucial role in overseeing the executive branch, approving budgets, and ratifying treaties. Members of the 국회 serve four-year terms and can be re-elected. This system is designed to maintain a balance of power within the government and uphold democratic principles.
