응급구조사
응급구조사, or emergency medical technicians (EMTs), are trained professionals who provide immediate medical care in emergencies. They are often the first responders to accidents, medical crises, or disasters, working to stabilize patients before they reach a hospital. Their training includes basic life support, first aid, and the use of medical equipment.
In many countries, including South Korea, 응급구조사 must complete a certification program and pass exams to ensure they are qualified to handle various medical situations. They work closely with paramedics and other healthcare providers to ensure patients receive timely and effective treatment.
