감각운동기
감각운동기, or the sensorimotor stage, is the first of the four stages in Jean Piaget's theory of cognitive development. It typically occurs from birth to about 2 years of age. During this stage, infants learn about the world through their senses and motor activities. They explore their environment by touching, looking, and manipulating objects.
In the 감각운동기, children develop important skills such as object permanence, which is the understanding that objects continue to exist even when they cannot be seen. This stage lays the foundation for more complex cognitive processes that will develop in later stages of childhood.
