高畑勲
高畑勲 (Isao Takahata) was a renowned Japanese animator, director, and co-founder of the famous animation studio スタジオジブリ (Studio Ghibli). Born on October 29, 1935, he is best known for his work on films that combine beautiful animation with deep emotional storytelling. His notable films include 火垂るの墓 (Grave of the Fireflies) and おもひでぽろぽろ (Only Yesterday).
Takahata's unique approach to animation often focused on human experiences and social issues, setting him apart from his contemporaries.
