高棉语
高棉语, or Khmer, is the official language of Cambodia. It belongs to the Mon-Khmer branch of the Austroasiatic language family and is spoken by millions of people in the region. The language has its own unique script, which is derived from the ancient Brahmi script.
The grammar of 高棉语 is quite different from that of many Western languages, featuring a subject-verb-object structure. It is known for its rich vocabulary and complex system of honorifics, reflecting the cultural importance of respect and social hierarchy in Cambodian society.
