風の神
風の神 (Kaze no Kami) is a deity in Japanese mythology that represents the wind. Often depicted as a powerful figure, this god is believed to control the winds and storms, influencing weather patterns and agricultural success. In various traditions, Kaze no Kami is associated with both protection and destruction, reflecting the dual nature of wind.
In Shinto, the indigenous spirituality of Japan, Kaze no Kami is sometimes linked to other deities, such as 雷神 (Raijin), the god of thunder. Festivals and rituals are held to honor this wind god, seeking favorable winds for sailing and farming, as well as protection from destructive storms.
