西阿留申語
西阿留申語, or Western Aleut, is a language spoken by the Aleut people in the Aleutian Islands of Alaska. It belongs to the Eskimo-Aleut language family and has distinct dialects, primarily influenced by the geographical isolation of its speakers.
The language features a complex system of vowel harmony and agglutination, allowing for the formation of long words through the addition of prefixes and suffixes. Although the number of speakers has declined, efforts are being made to revitalize and preserve 西阿留申語 through educational programs and community initiatives.
