虹
"虹" (hóng) is the Chinese word for "rainbow." It is a meteorological phenomenon that occurs when sunlight is refracted, reflected, and dispersed in water droplets, creating a spectrum of light in the sky. Rainbows typically appear after rain when the sun shines through the remaining moisture in the air.
A rainbow consists of seven distinct colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. This sequence of colors is often remembered by the acronym ROYGBIV. Rainbows can be seen in various locations around the world, and they are often associated with beauty and hope in many cultures.
