線香
線香 (senkō) is a type of incense commonly used in Japan. It is made from natural materials such as aromatic woods, herbs, and essential oils. People often burn senkō during religious ceremonies, memorial services, or to create a calming atmosphere in their homes. The smoke produced is believed to purify the air and promote relaxation.
In addition to its spiritual significance, senkō is also used in traditional practices like 茶道 (sadō), the Japanese tea ceremony. Different types of senkō can produce various scents, allowing users to choose according to their preferences or the occasion.
