康提
康提, also known as Kandy, is a city located in the central part of Sri Lanka. It is famous for its rich history and cultural significance, being the last capital of the ancient kings of Sri Lanka. The city is surrounded by lush hills and is home to the sacred Temple of the Tooth, which houses a relic believed to be a tooth of the Buddha.
Kandy is also known for its beautiful lake, known as Kandy Lake, which adds to the city's charm. The annual Esala Perahera festival, celebrated in July or August, attracts many visitors and showcases traditional dance, music, and vibrant processions.
