孙悟空, also known as the Monkey King, is a central character in the classic Chinese novel 西游记 (Journey to the West). He is a monkey born from a stone who gains supernatural powers through Taoist practices. Known for his incredible strength, agility, and ability to transform into various forms, he is often depicted wielding a magical staff called 如意金箍棒.
In the story, 孙悟空 accompanies the monk 唐僧 on a pilgrimage to retrieve Buddhist scriptures from 印度. Throughout their journey, he battles demons and protects his master, showcasing his loyalty and bravery. His character symbolizes rebellion against authority and the quest for enlightenment.
