原爆ドーム
The 原爆ドーム, or Atomic Bomb Dome, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Hiroshima, Japan. It was originally built as the Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall in 1915. The structure was partially destroyed by the atomic bomb dropped on August 6, 1945, during World War II, leaving it as a powerful symbol of the devastation caused by nuclear weapons.
Today, the 原爆ドーム serves as a memorial to the victims of the bombing and a reminder of the importance of peace. It stands near the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, which commemorates the tragic events and promotes a message of anti-nuclear sentiment and global harmony.
