کیم ایل-sونگ
کیم ایل-sونگ (Kim Il-sung) was the founding leader of North Korea, serving as its Prime Minister from 1948 and later as President from 1972 until his death in 1994. He played a significant role in the establishment of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea after the end of World War II and was a key figure during the Korean War.
He is known for developing the ideology of Juche, which emphasizes self-reliance and independence. Under his leadership, North Korea became a one-party state, and he maintained strict control over the government and military, promoting a cult of personality around himself and his family.
