قربانی (Sacrifice)
قربانی (Sacrifice) is an important practice in many cultures and religions, particularly in Islam. It commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God. In Islam, this practice is observed during the festival of Eid al-Adha, where animals such as sheep, goats, or cows are sacrificed.
The meat from the sacrificed animal is typically divided into three parts: one-third is given to the needy, one-third is shared with relatives and friends, and the remaining third is kept for the family. This act symbolizes generosity, community, and the importance of sharing with those less fortunate.
