فروغ فرخزاد
فروغ فرخزاد was an influential Iranian poet, born in 1935 in Tehran. She is known for her modernist approach to poetry, which often explored themes of love, identity, and women's rights. Her work challenged traditional norms and provided a voice for women in a male-dominated society.
Throughout her life, فروغ published several acclaimed poetry collections, including اسیر and دیوان. She also ventured into filmmaking, creating short films that reflected her artistic vision. Tragically, her life was cut short in a car accident in 1967, but her legacy continues to inspire generations of poets and artists in Iran and beyond.
