فرمان آزادی
"فرمان آزادی" (Emancipation Proclamation) was a significant executive order issued by Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States, on January 1, 1863. This proclamation declared that all enslaved people in the Confederate states were to be set free. It aimed to weaken the Confederacy during the American Civil War and to promote the idea of freedom and equality.
The proclamation did not immediately free all enslaved individuals, as it applied only to areas in rebellion against the Union. However, it marked a crucial turning point in the war, leading to the eventual abolition of slavery in the United States with the passage of the 13th Amendment in 1865.
