ديوالي
ديوالي, also known as the Festival of Lights, is a major Hindu festival celebrated in India and by Indian communities worldwide. It symbolizes the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. During this time, people decorate their homes with diyas (oil lamps) and rangoli (colorful patterns made from powders), and they often exchange sweets and gifts with family and friends.
The festival lasts for five days, with each day having its own significance. The third day, known as Lakshmi Puja, is dedicated to the worship of Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity. Fireworks and celebrations mark the occasion, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with joy and unity.
