Хиранякашипу
Хиранякашипу is a character from Hindu mythology, specifically known from the ancient Indian epic, the Bhagavata Purana. He is depicted as a powerful demon king who sought to conquer the heavens and eliminate the worship of the god Vishnu. His arrogance and desire for immortality led him to perform severe penance to gain boons from the gods.
Despite his strength, Хиранякашипу's reign was challenged by his own son, Prahlada, who remained devoted to Vishnu. This devotion angered Хиранякашипу, leading to a series of events that ultimately resulted in his downfall, showcasing the triumph of good over evil in Hindu teachings.
