Тхімпху
Тхімпху is the capital city of Bhutan, located in the western part of the country. It is known for its unique blend of modernity and tradition, featuring traditional Bhutanese architecture alongside contemporary buildings. The city is situated in a valley at an elevation of about 2,320 meters (7,656 feet) and is surrounded by beautiful mountains.
As the political and economic center of Bhutan, Тхімпху hosts important government institutions, including the National Assembly and the Royal Palace. The city is also home to various cultural sites, such as the Tashichho Dzong, a fortress and monastery that serves as the seat of the government and the monastic body.
