Тет
Тет is a traditional Vietnamese festival that marks the arrival of the Lunar New Year, also known as Tết Nguyên Đán. It usually falls between late January and mid-February, depending on the lunar calendar. Tết is a time for families to reunite, honor their ancestors, and celebrate new beginnings.
During Tết, people prepare special foods, decorate their homes with peach blossoms and kumquat trees, and participate in various cultural activities. The festival is characterized by vibrant parades, fireworks, and the giving of li xi, or lucky money, to children and elders, symbolizing good fortune for the year ahead.
