"Золушка" (Cinderella) is a popular fairy tale about a kind young woman who is mistreated by her stepmother and stepsisters. Despite her hardships, she remains gentle and hopeful. With the help of her фея-крестная (fairy godmother), she attends a royal ball, where she captures the heart of the принц (prince). At the ball, she must leave before midnight, which is when the magic wears off. In her haste, she loses a glass slipper.
