Декамерон
"Декамерон" is a collection of 100 tales written by the Italian author Джованни Боккаччо in the 14th century. Set during the Чёрная смерть, the stories are narrated by a group of ten young people who escape the plague in Флоренция and take refuge in a villa outside the city. Each day, they tell stories that explore themes of love, wit, and human nature.
The work is divided into ten days, with each character telling one story per day. "Декамерон" is considered a significant literary achievement and has influenced many writers, including Шекспир and Чосер. Its blend of humor and tragedy reflects the complexities of life during a tumultuous period.
