Ψυχή (Soul)
The term "Ψυχή" (Soul) originates from ancient Greek philosophy and refers to the essence of a living being. It is often associated with consciousness, identity, and the life force that animates the body. In various philosophical traditions, the soul is considered distinct from the physical body, representing the inner self or spirit.
In Plato's works, the soul is viewed as immortal and capable of existing independently of the body. Aristotle also discussed the soul, defining it as the "form" of a living organism, essential for its functions and activities. The concept of the soul has influenced many religious and spiritual beliefs throughout history.
