Χο Τσι Μινχ
Χο Τσι Μινχ was a Vietnamese revolutionary leader and politician, best known for his role in the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. He played a crucial part in the struggle for Vietnamese independence from French colonial rule and later against American involvement in Vietnam. His leadership helped establish the Viet Minh movement, which aimed to unify Vietnam under communist principles.
Born on May 19, 1890, in Nghe An, he adopted the name Χο Τσι Μινχ, meaning "Bringer of Light." He became the first President of North Vietnam and is celebrated as a national hero. His legacy continues to influence Vietnam's political landscape today.
