Νιρβάνα (Enlightenment)
Νιρβάνα (Enlightenment) is a key concept in Buddhism that represents the ultimate state of liberation and freedom from suffering. It is achieved when an individual transcends the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth, known as samsara. In this state, one experiences profound peace and understanding, free from desires and attachments.
The path to Νιρβάνα involves following the Noble Eightfold Path, which includes practices such as right understanding, right intention, and right mindfulness. Attaining Νιρβάνα is considered the highest goal for Buddhists, as it signifies the end of ignorance and the realization of true nature.
