Ναγκασάκι
Ναγκασάκι is a city located on the island of Κυκλάδες in Ιαπωνία. It is known for its beautiful natural harbor and rich history, particularly during the period of Ευρωπαϊκή αποικιοκρατία. The city was one of the few places in Japan that allowed foreign trade during the Εποχή του Έντο.
In 1945, Ναγκασάκι became the second city to be targeted by an atomic bomb during World War II. This tragic event significantly impacted the city's population and infrastructure. Today, Ναγκασάκι is recognized for its peace memorials and efforts to promote nuclear disarmament.
