Μασάι
The Μασάι, or Maasai, are a semi-nomadic ethnic group primarily found in Kenya and Tanzania. They are known for their distinctive customs, traditional dress, and vibrant culture. The Maasai people traditionally rely on cattle herding and agriculture for their livelihood, which plays a central role in their social structure and economy.
The Maasai are famous for their elaborate ceremonies and rituals, including the Enkipaata (initiation ceremony) and the Eunoto (warrior graduation). Their unique language, Maa, is part of the Nilo-Saharan language family. Despite modernization, the Maasai strive to maintain their cultural heritage and traditions.
