Ιησούς (Jesus)
Ιησούς (Jesus) is a central figure in Christianity, believed by Christians to be the Son of God and the awaited Messiah. He was born in Bethlehem around 4 to 6 BCE and grew up in Nazareth. His teachings focused on love, compassion, and forgiveness, and he performed various miracles, such as healing the sick and feeding the hungry.
Jesus' life and teachings are documented in the New Testament, particularly in the four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. He was crucified around 30 to 33 CE, an event that Christians believe was a sacrifice for humanity's sins, leading to his resurrection and the promise of eternal life.
