Ζεύς, known as Zeus in English, is the chief deity in ancient Greek mythology. He is the god of the sky, lightning, and thunder, often depicted holding a thunderbolt. As the ruler of the Olympian gods, he presides over Mount Olympus and is associated with law, order, and justice. Zeus is the son of Cronus and Rhea and the youngest of his siblings, which include Hestia, Hera, Demeter, Poseidon, and Hades.
