Δον Κιχώτη
"Δον Κιχώτη" (Don Quixote) is a novel written by the Spanish author Miguel de Cervantes. First published in two parts in 1605 and 1615, it tells the story of an aging nobleman who becomes so enamored with chivalric romances that he decides to become a knight himself. He adopts the name Don Quixote and sets out on various adventures, often mistaking ordinary objects and people for fantastical foes.
The novel is considered one of the first modern novels and is celebrated for its exploration of themes such as reality versus illusion and the nature of heroism. Sancho Panza, Don Quixote's loyal squire, provides comic relief and serves as a foil to the idealistic knight. The work has had a profound influence on literature and continues to be studied and adapted in various forms.
