Γε'εζ
Γε'εζ is a Semitic language primarily spoken in the region of Ethiopia. It is an ancient language that has its roots in the Ge'ez script, which is still used in religious texts by the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. Although it is no longer a spoken language, it remains significant in liturgical contexts.
The language has influenced several modern languages in Ethiopia and Eritrea, particularly Amharic and Tigrinya. Its historical importance is evident in the rich literary tradition, including religious manuscripts and historical documents, which provide insight into the culture and history of the region.
