Αζόρες
The Αζόρες are a group of nine volcanic islands located in the North Atlantic Ocean, part of Portugal. They are known for their stunning landscapes, including lush green hills, crater lakes, and dramatic coastlines. The islands are divided into three groups: the Eastern, Central, and Western groups, with São Miguel being the largest and most populated.
The climate in the Αζόρες is mild and temperate, making it a popular destination for outdoor activities such as hiking, whale watching, and bird watching. The islands also have a rich cultural heritage, with influences from Portuguese and American traditions, reflected in their architecture, cuisine, and festivals.
