Vincent van Gogh was a Dutch post-impressionist painter, born on March 30, 1853. He is known for his vivid use of color and expressive brushwork. Despite struggling with mental health issues, he created over 2,100 artworks, including around 860 oil paintings, in just over a decade.
Some of his most famous works include Starry Night, Sunflowers, and The Bedroom. Van Gogh's unique style and emotional depth have made him one of the most influential figures in Western art. He passed away on July 29, 1890, but his legacy continues to inspire artists and art lovers worldwide.
