{MRI
MRI, or Magnetic Resonance Imaging, is a medical imaging technique used to visualize internal structures of the body. It employs strong magnetic fields and radio waves to generate detailed images of organs, tissues, and other bodily components. Unlike X-rays or CT scans, MRI does not use ionizing radiation, making it a safer option for many patients.
The MRI process involves the patient lying inside a large, tube-shaped machine. The machine creates a magnetic field that aligns the protons in the body, and radio waves are then sent through to produce images. MRI is commonly used to diagnose conditions related to the brain, spine, joints, and soft tissues.
