Brandenburg-Prussia was a historical state in Central Europe that emerged in the late 15th century. The state played a crucial role in the formation of modern Germany. In 1701, Frederick I crowned himself King in Prussia, marking the rise of the Kingdom of Prussia. This kingdom later became a leading force in the unification of Germany in the 19th century, influencing European politics significantly.
