世界遺産 (World Heritage) refers to sites recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) for their cultural, historical, scientific, or other forms of significance. These sites are deemed important for preserving the heritage of humanity and are protected under international treaties.
There are two types of 世界遺産: Cultural Heritage and Natural Heritage. Cultural Heritage includes monuments, groups of buildings, and archaeological sites, while Natural Heritage encompasses natural areas and formations of outstanding universal value.
