ピョートル3世 was the Emperor of Russia for a brief period in 1762. He was born on February 21, 1728, and was the grandson of ピョートル1世, the founder of the Russian Empire. His reign lasted only six months before he was overthrown in a coup led by his wife, エカチェリーナ2世. Despite his short rule, ピョートル3世 is known for his attempts to reform the Russian military and government. He favored Western ideas and sought to modernize Russia, but his unpopular policies and disregard for the nobility led to his downfall. He died shortly after his abdication.
